- As a general rule, it is not permitted to move mobile cranes when the crane boom is not set in the transport position.
- If, in a special circumstance, a transfer is needed, the move must be approved according to the crane’s user manual. Hook must be attached to the undercarriage.
- The work operation is risk assessed and documented in Xago (checklist)
- The transfer must be documented with safe job analysis (SJA).
