This could be a lifting operation using a mobile crane in connection with:
- Funfair
- Show
- Film and television production
- Entertainment parks
- Concerts
- Events
As a rule, the use of a mobile crane for lifting personnel for entertainment purposes must not be carried out by Nordic Crane.
Exception
There are exceptions where such a lift may be carried out, but only after a thorough assessment where at minimum these following requirements have been met and/or implemented:
- The assignment MUST always be notified to the department manager, general manager and chief of security before an agreement with the customer is entered into.
- Written approval of the assignment must be obtained from the general manager and chief of security at Nordic Crane
- Risk assessment of the assignment shall be carried out in cooperation with chief of security Nordic Crane, coordinator and relevant crane operator.
- Under no circumstances will personnel be lifted above other persons.
- Agreements on consent, responsibilities and roles must be clarified and documented before lifting is carried out.
- The crane operator must be familiar with the nature of the assignment, risk assessment with relevant procedures and other documentation related to the assignment.
Completed lifts that do not comply with these safety requirements are considered a serious violation of the internal safety regulations in Nordic Crane.
Serious violations are followed up in accordance with applicable procedures.
