The Employer Must
- ensure that our employees are aware of the accident and health hazards that may be associated with the work.
- ensure that training is provided as certified safety training or equipment-specific training in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
You as an Employee Must
- receive the training, practice, and instruction necessary for your work.
- complete the necessary training on the specific work equipment to be used.
Equipment-Specific Training
- Must be provided by the employer or other competent persons.
- The training must be adapted to the specific equipment.
The employer must document in writing which work equipment
- training has been provided on
- who has provided the training, and
- who has received the training
Certified Safety Training
Must be provided by persons or bodies certified to deliver this type of training.
This applies to the following equipment:
- Overhead and gantry cranes.
- Mobile cranes with a capacity greater than 2 tm.
- Cranes with a capacity greater than 2 tm mounted on trucks or truck trailers.
It is not permitted to perform work tasks with equipment for which you have not received documented training.
Our employees must expect to complete safety courses as required by our clients, internal requirements, or applicable legal changes.
