Each employee carries an extra responsibility when operating the company’s vehicles and machinery in traffic. Our employees must always drive considerately, remain attentive, and act cautiously.

Driving far out towards the road edge increases the risk of going into the ditch, especially if the edge is soft.

Be especially cautious in cases of:

As a driver, you are not obliged to move onto the road edge or shoulder to let traffic behind you pass. Assess the risk before doing so.

In the Event of a Traffic Accident

In the event of a traffic accident, collision, or damage to one of the company’s vehicles or machines, the immediate supervisor must be notified without undue delay. An accident report must always be completed.

The immediate supervisor must ensure that an Unwanted Incident Report (RUH) is created.


Reverse Parking

At Nordic Crane, reverse parking is practiced wherever practical. Exercise extra caution when reversing cranes and crane trucks. If visibility is insufficient, a spotter must be used.
