If you work alone, you must always
- Exchange contact information with your contact person
- Give notice when the working day has ended.
- Give notice if you leave your place of work.
- Arrange more frequent contact when and if needed.
- Must not carry out a task that constitutes an unacceptable risk.
- Contact your superiors so that measures are taken, if necessary
The agreed contact person must reach out and establish contact if they do not hear from the person who works alone at the end of the working day. If there is suspicion that something is wrong, the contact person must notify the manager.
If you work alone, you must ALWAYS verify the start and end of working hours with a contact person.
Repairs of machinery and equipment to be carried out outside normal working hours (Monday-Friday 07:00 – 16:00), must contain a minimum of two people in the area where machinery is being worked on. This also applies to repairs and maintenance of private equipment.
Planned overtime in the workshops must be notified to the person responsible for the workshop in question. Information must be provided about the type of work to be carried out, so that the appropriate equipment and personnel are selected.
Private use of workshops and equipment must be agreed upon in advance with the person responsible for the workshop. If the workshop manager is not present, an agreement must be made with the head of department. The requirement of a 2 people minimum present also applies to all private use of the workshop.
Only ONE visitor is allowed at the workshop. All visits must be registered with name and telephone number in accordance with the procedure in the applicable department.
The company’s current requirements for the use of protective equipment must also be followed during private work in the workshop.
After normal working hours, all tools and machines must be locked. Private use of the equipment must be agreed with the workshop manager.
Damage and faults that occur to borrowed tools and equipment must be reported to the workshop manager as soon as possible.
Workshop must be cleaned, and tools hung in place after use.
In the event of a rule violation, the possibility of borrowing the workshop will be revoked over a given period.
