Assembly / Disassembly
- SJA must be completed and documented.
- Only cranes with sufficient range and lifting capacity must be used. This is quality-checked before lifting operations.
- Satisfactory radio communication between the crane operator and the assembly team must be ensured.
- When dismantling cantilevers or rear-bridge, steering ropes must be used
- When lifting lengthy cargo in windy conditions, the maximum limit for wind in the relevant lifting table must be decreased.
Tower crane in the same working area
- SJA will be carried out in cooperation with everyone involved.
- Communication between the tower crane operator and mobile crane operator must be confirmed in a separate channel/radio
- Sector limitation should be considered.
- Lifting areas must be defined and it is recommended to plan daily lifting operations for mobile cranes so that this does not conflict with the tower crane.
- Consider running a mobile crane with a lower boom to avoid conflict with a tower crane.
- In the case of several cranes in the same work area / construction site, it is recommended to have a separate operational manager specifically for lifting operations.
